H.M.S. Warrior - One of the first Iron Clad Battleships, is moored opposite the hotel on Portsmouth Harbour and is visable from all of our Harbour view rooms.
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard- The entrance to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is approximately 200 metres from the Hotel. The Historic Dockyard is home to Admiral Nelson's Flagship, H.M.S. Victory and to the Mary Rose Museum, as well as many other attractions. Throughout the year there are many events held within the Dockyard, with the Victorian Festival of Christmas being particulary popular.
Gunwharf Quays Shopping and Leisure Complex - Located approximately 400 metres from the hotel, Gunwharf Quays is home to a large range of retail and outlet shops, bars and resturants, a multiplex cinema and a casino. The world famous Spinnaker Tower is also located within the Gunwharf Quays Complex.
Spinnaker Tower - The 170 metre tall Emirates Spinnaker Tower is located on the Harbour entrance, within the Gunwharf Quays complex. The viewing platform at the top of the tower has far reaching views over Portsmouth and across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
Old Portsmouth and Spice Island - The Oldest part of Portsmouth with its Historic Fortifications, Cathedral and Pubs, can be reached by a short walk or a five minute taxi ride. Recently, Old Portsmouth has become the home of Sir Ben Ainsley's America's cup sailing team, with its iconic building being located on the Camber Quay.
Portsmouth Harbour Station and Isle of Wight Ferries - Located approximately five hundred metres from the hotel. Trains run several times a day from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo and London Victoria with a journey time of around ninety minutes. Both The Isle of Wight fastcat and car ferries are located on Portsmouth Harbour.
Chichester and Goodwood - The medieval Cathedral City of Chichester is a popular tourist attraction with the nearby Goodwood Estate being home to the world famous Goodwood Festival of speed ( 29th Of June until 2nd Of July 2017) and the equally popular Goodwood Revival (8th - 10th of September 2017). Goodwood Racecourse is also located on the outskirts of Chichester, with glorious Goodwood being a major part of the summer racing calendar.
